The trope of a character knowing they’re in serious danger yet hiding it from everyone will never not be annoying. Even if it’s supposed to be ‘fate’.
Her son will be cursing himself for the rest of his life wondering… “What if I told my dad I saw the death spirit on mum before she returned to where she died?”. And what about when everyone else in the family finds out he knew? They would resent him a little tbh. Especially since he overheard the mum telling the dad he didn’t need to visit her because she knew he would discover that the situation was too dangerous and he would ask her to return or up the security.
In reality, the middle brother would end up resenting the FL again once he finds out the mum died researching stuff linked to her prophecy and the FL would also blame herself for the death. Also since the mum held the family together emotionally things would slowly fall apart without her (especially since the dad blames himself for his own mum’s death already).
