I know it sounds easy to say but here’s my experience in the most mature way @Yukkimeow
if you want to make your own Path or wanna Life your live then you need a stable backups (maybe finance, assets, or anything that guarantee your safety and well-being) just to Ensure so if things didn’t go as planned worse case scenario neither with your family or your lover later.
This is your life not your parents, aside from being care about their children they also have to let their children choose their own Path ( while the parents will be the guide and adviser)
You have to think further ahead so you won’t regret anything and prove your family that you can do better on your own too. It needs a strong determination, you can do it maybe not now, but tomorrow or someday will😤🤗

It’s kinda sad I relate with her when it comes to duty and my love life :,). I’m supposed to be loyal to my family and that I should have no one else, not even friends, I was born so that my parents could relive the life they couldn’t have through me. Yet i’ve fallen in love badly with a guy who loves me back and i’m stuck between the thoughts of him and all the grooming my parents did to chain me to them.
