Frankly i can get where he is coming from if the one he loved almost killed him (tho suspecting a child of spying is pushing it and he has issues, still want to kick his butt), from deep love to hate ther is only one step. The real source of all the problems comes from the mother, she hurt the man she loved and their daughter’s first decade of living was hell BECAUSE SHE CHOSE THIS PATH for the whole family BY HERSELF! the grief of losing his wife would have been less than this, raising their child considering how he used to be? would have heal his sadness, and the memories of his wife sweeter.
