i hate the father. remember, he sealed his EMOTIONS. but emotions are emotions and that doesn’t justify his actions. y’know he could have been kind to her daughter without his emotions, right?

Most likely it was because of the curse after killing the demon king. We still don’t know what the curse was, but looking at her actions, maybe it was forcing her to choose which of her loved ones dies. She forced him away so he was no longer part of that choice and then sacrificed herself to let her daughter live… obviously can’t be sure that’s the reason until they reveal it, or if there’s other source material that has more info

I hate that they’ll make us forgive him, because someone that thinks about hurting a child because he was hurt, doesn’t deserve pardon. He sealed his emotions but only the anger and revenge remain?

When you regret it, I know the author is going to make MC forgive you because toxic because must be forgiven trope is popular for some reason. I think there’s a conspiracy to brainwash people into forgiving people who do cruel things and romanticise it by making excuses like “he sealed his emotions”….. toxic people are toxic, if they wanna change, they can repent but not forgiven. That’s not how being a good person works.
