so @sunshineB u see that as readers we know everything abt the characters and abt their life but the characters in the manga do not feel how we feel cuz camelia always wanted to see her mom and talk to her but those 2 didnt let the letters reach her mother so she is dissapointed cuz she was stopped from meeting her mother tho it was for her on good she cant get rid of the dissapointment if u put ur self in her place u will prolly feel the same

I hate how the comic portrayed this incident because in the novel it happens at a different point in time and there was a lot more context/events that happened before that led up to her finding out about the letters to the point that one would understand Camila’s emotions.
if I’m being honest when I read the novel I was so mad with Claude to the point that I was “yelling” to Camila to leave his sorry ass! Even though I am a Claumilla shipper all the way! There was a lot more that he kept. form her all because he thought it was for her “own good” and it kinda made her feel like he didn’t trust her enough, It was just a whole roller coaster of him not letting her make her own choices and basically “speaking” for her!
