The biggest issue isn’t preparation, but ingredients. It’s mentioned in the first few chapters that they’re not able to bring outside ingredients/food, only bare essentials like beef jerky, potions and water. That’s why the food truck is such a big deal, it’s not the truck itself but the fact she can bring/create food that no one else every could.

As I understand, they could cook, but they’re not there for that, is not a safe place to be and there’s no time to waste on this.

wait they can’t cook in the dungeon but they have a huge room on a tent? not sure what is the logic here
