The bread and butter of this story is actually about Hestia x Diana,
it’s about how Diana wants to be idealistic but don’t want to pay the price or fight for it.
Just talk about the high horse but has never actually work for it, she always has people that work for her.
Diana power was given by gods, Diana early help was all Kael who somehow just like her.
CP attraction for her also because of her power and how it just clicked at that moment while none of them actually share a bond, they share a fate in the plot, together.
Idk what to pity in Diana beside her stubbornness and how she is a big hypocrite who doesn’t even think she does anything wrong.
Diana justify every situation by her sad backstory and her supposed feeling of injustice.
Her feeling of injustice, not her actions while colluding with temple and go into risky investment.
Diana is favour by this world, she was never a victim yet she can’t see how she can be false.
We have small portions of the story before this, the original yet Idk why people think Diana was the good female lead, even in the original, she was the damsel in distress.
When the story ends, Kael and Helios, alongside a transmigrator like Hestia can actually do reflection but Diana can’t, she can’t be wrong which is why she is not the good in this story, it simply because she was never one and has no intention to become one,

I’m not saying it’s a bad story and I still think all the characters are interesting! But just personally I wanted it to end with a bang! And it ended with a whisper (not a BAD ending just not satisfying to me (which hestia also learns to accept but I’m not fictional and I want my juicy revenge lol))

•I agree Hestia is taking things too far, don’t poke the bear while it’s down. Kael in that one chapter I forgot # of was worried about what will happen to her when all the revenge is complete. I’m sure he appreciates some of it as karma. I think he’s pretty much done, wants to move on, and focus on strengthening his domain and love life. He’s already fallen for Hestia, but maybe she’s scared his interest won’t last or the revenge is the only glue keeping them together. It’s like Cinderella you got your shoe back and your prince charming. I’m skeptical about how long a “happily ever after” would last, too. However, let’s face it, real life is boring and mundane. What matters is that you and your partner are content and more happy during the day to day together rather than you being alone on your own. If you have to prove the glass slipper is yours all the time and that’s the only reason he stays interested that ain’t love. I kind of get her dilemma as a single weeb with high standards. If I were in her shoes, I would wonder and doubt why or what made him fall for me specifically. I’m confident and got some skills, but so does everybody else on the planet. What makes him set “me” apart from the rest? Would his love remain unconditional or will it run out after the spark/link that joined “us” in the first place is gone? I might never get to experience the answer irl. 😔 However, I bet for this fictional story it will be a moment that’s very heart-warming and touching when Hestia finally let’s go of her fears in front of Kael. 😌☺️

•I’ll say it again? I feel a shrivel pity for Dianna, she was always a bit of a hypocrite on a high horse. Such as when she tried to “humble” nobles with cheaper quality tea/snacks, which seems sort of righteous until you realize if you have the status and pay top dollar for the best, you should recieve what you paid for and worked towards. However, that in of itself wasn’t 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 bad as I think she had done good deeds like helping the poor or some crap (tho she might of done it to give herself an ego boost), prior to getting with that crap head cp. He gave her sugar-covered words and false promises so ofc she was driven off the edge. He toyed with her cuz he’s the prince, yet at the same she knows he is the prince and still married him knowing they have added responsibilities and can’t function as your average couple. Both of them are shxt, but you can’t deny cp contributed something that aided in her Karen Kracken transformation. He lit the match and now is acting all regretful for the damage now that the wildfire has grown out of control. “Let’s go back to the beginning” let’s see, the reason you wanted pink’s coochie so badly was because he wanted to take what his friend wanted. Now that he doesn’t want her and is over it, the thrill is no longer there. 🙄

Hestia is borderline obsessed with Kaelus. You wanting Kaelus to go through hell because she’s doing this to her self is insane.
Hestia finds peace in working herself for the people she loves, and Kaelus wants her to settle down and be comfortable. He doesn’t have to break his legs to do that.
Again, Hestia to me feels like she’s getting more insecure, but subsequently more obsessed(with both Kaelus and that trash).
From avatheran’s comment, it seems like this wasn’t wrapped well, which is kinda disappointing.

I used to love this story but….it has such a mediocre ending (in the novel) and kaelus as much as I do like him…..didnt suffer enough for hestia imo.
