Oye vey. It’s interesting and kind of uncomfortable to watch as Heli is maturing and realizing too late what he has done (or not done) and the consequences. Regardless of what he actually feels (like maybe he no longer loves Diana and has feelings for Hestia? Who knows 🤷♀️), he has decided to commit to the marriage that is falling apart. He’s trying to work it out with Diana and get her on the right path for the sake of everyone (her, his father, Cael and Hes, the whole kingdom, etc.), but repairing a marriage takes two. Idk if she’s gonna agree to try or even understand what she did wrong and what Heli is trying to do and why that’s important and needed. She’s just not mature enough. 😮💨

Oh wait I got more to dump, I like how Diana adds more layers to the pick me sluts compared to their shallow spoiled counter parts in other manhwas (like the step-sisters or delulu childhood simp). Helios and Kael fell for her ideals, like “I wish the poor and homeless had medicine and food” which anybody can say. She didn’t think things through and know or even bother to learn/ask for help onto how to actually make it possible. She thought being placed in a position of power was enough. Little did she know getting that seat is the easy part, it’s keeping it that’s the hard part. 💯 similar to all these tiktok influencers you see buy mansions and fancy cars only to lose it all and go to jail 1-3 years later. Unfortunately, you have to put up with bs and entertain corrupt a-holes to build up your own standing to eventually take down the bigger worse ones (if you don’t lose yourself and become one of them in the process). Hestia is a master at that game, with saying one thing to please corporate and doing another. I don’t hate everyone with “MC syndrome” a lot of the time they are groomed into becoming like a Diana bc they can’t help it if everyone around them is only sharing positive affirming words and no criticism whatsoever. No one wants to admit to defeat or learn to become better after getting hit by revenge or publicly embarrassed. However, I think in earlier chapters they did give her a chance using the nice sugarcoated suggestions with her (like with that head maid or secretary she dismissed that was a seasoned expert in the palace) but Diana is too cocky and burned those bridges. She thinks things would have been different if she chose Kael. Hw, she’s still naive and would’ve made the same mistakes. It’s just Kael would have possibly been more patient, took the time to teach her, and clean up her messes (like the pitiful sad husband of a Karen).

I love the beginning part, it shows that not all rumors are bad. It was right of people to be sus of a commoner like Diana. Helios helped speed up her bxtch transformation. It really shows that love alone isn’t enough, and you have to know everything you are signing up for when becoming their partner for life. It reminds me of those villainess or divorce manhwas where the FL took all these lessons and stuff her whole life to know how to budget, run the estate, etc. And their ex cheats on them for some bimbo who has no experience and drags them into debt which they later regret. Women like that are pets you through money at, whereas real wives are an investment and a co-captain (or your worst enemy if you don’t treat them with respect lol 😎😘).
