I think people are forgetting that both Kael and Hestia are broken people. Kael has/had Hestia to work through his issues but Hestia has no one. She is obsessive about Kael and revenge because that’s her life line, she was transported in a book and lost her purpose in life so she fixates on Kael because “saving” him is what she reasoned was her purpose for being transmigrated. Without that she’s back to her su*cidal thoughts from before.Sadly after all this time she still sees them as characters in a book and herself as an outsider looking in. Kael doesn’t know this so how can he address it, all he can do is reassure her when she gets like this. Which is why I believe she needs more grace as it can’t be easy to deal with all that alone. Also we have to admit Helios is being really inappropriate and selfish here. Him claiming that he won’t steal anything from Kael again while they all know the past and feel his current attraction to Hess is weird behavior. He obviously misses his friend and sees how he took their relationship for granted but there’s still arrogance in this “apology”. He could have just thanked them but instead he did this. A subtle dig at Kael that he can have whatever he wants (Hess) but he’s not taking it because he values their friendship. He’s a crown prince so that arrogance is expected but I can see why this would raise Hestia’s alarms, is he horrible no, but he’s definitely not a good friend. There’s probably always going to be a distance between them because of this. Anyways all the characters need grace as none of them are perfect and although Hestia’s overprotective behavior of Kael seems extreme, she is responsible for bringing him back from the edge, hopefully he can do the same for her.

hestia is just so f*cking annoying, LIKE DAWG ,KAEL is grown ass man who is perfectly aware of his situation,especially when hes healthy now. im sorry but this annoys me.😒

She’s not mad at him for apologizing, she’s mad at him for acting like the bigger person and bringing up the fact that he “won’t covet what’s not his” while they both know that he’s developing feelings for her. I’d be pissed too if that comment made Kael unintentionally put her and Diana in the same category since it would be a completely repeat of his past with HER in the center of it

@kakaykaly Her behavior is somewhat understandable. Remember, she was traumatized by the sui*cide of her favorite person because of these people. She IS completely consumed by the idea of revenge and needs healing. Or so I see the situation.
