In the novel, Hes said that she lost the will to live and after Helios asked why, she told him that Kael killed himself because of him and Diana. It’s a bit strange here because stuff is missing that I think is actually important in this context.

@Limesly I agree, I got a tendency to spout out stuff when I’m panicking, overthinking, and scared. That’s how some panic attacks start. It’s a double edged sword, I got a fear of blood at the doctors office, but if you distract me by asking about my cats I completely forget about it while rambling 😅.
