To be fair, humans are humans and even I if I were to be a parent I would favour the capable among my children(even those with minimal capabilities, as long as they are capable). All of grandpa’s children with the exception of MC’s mom were incapable and hot headed, isn’t that enough reason for grandpa to like MC’s mom more?

if we’re being honest the grand father was a really bad parent he clearly said he cared about mc mom more than others no wonder why his kids turned this way and he doesn’t even blame his bad parenting and just blame his kids
