   Tbh, his brother is not wrong. To be associated with ghost that has unstable emotions and go berserk if you did something they didn’t like to the point that it’ll make them lose their sanity even tho you didn’t mean to or have no ill intentions, it’s really dangerous. I bet his brother help someone then did something but that ghost didn’t like it, got jealous or something then his brother, out of fear, made decisions that made it worst and now that ghost is after his life. But if he’s a player, then after he die he’ll just go back like the MC so i find it confusing or maybe the power the players get are different from each other or it’s just that his brother can see and communicate with ghost even not being a player.

      Yes I agree that the ghosts can easily become a threat in this situation. The players only have a limited number of lives that is why he cant waste them. I think the brother started the game and did not do well – maybe he had to send the link to the game to Doyun to get more lifes? Or the system did send it.
