Dragging to the point of milking. What has should been a straightforward story, becomes a unnecessary drama with using comedy elements to drag the story. The story itself should become a good romance story, but unnecessary plot with the duke makes it really hard to read. Coincidence after coincidence were being used as a based to justify the dragging.
