This doesn’t sit well with me. When u love someone u do anything to keep them safe. Obviously he doesn’t love her enough and uses her as a decoy and looks like his father started similarly too. Whether it turned into love or not is unclear but at least they both loved their son.
Still it’s frustrating. How one is blindly in love and used and the other one just leading the first person on.
