As someone with chronic illness and debilitating issues (who also grew up in a terribly abusive environment like hers, sadly) I 100% understand the frustration of doctors not knowing whats wrong with you, getting used to your struggles and side effects to the point that you forget what it’s like to be ‘normal’, having eating issues, and pushing through despite it all, even to the point of acting out of survival. Though I prefer more assertive female leads, I do at the least somewhat relate to her more meek nature and hope that she shows growth as the story progresses.
