For those of you hating on Ellen – she’s not assuming her mother and Rubi are suffering 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺. She just noticed Rubi is suffering with eating and probably knows there’s more going on than Rubi is letting on. She’s older now and hopes she or/and her brother can help her heal. She just doesn’t want to see someone suffer to the same extent has her mother did. We as readers KNOW both perspectives. But Ellen doesn’t actually know what else Rubi has been through.

Is she questioning Ellen’s authority?… And Ellen telling Isaac about Rubi’s condition is a good thing, so she doesn’t get worse..
Curse me too but i think she did the right thing telling it to isac. He’s her husband and probably the only one who can take care of ruby, who can help her get through her trauma’s and all. Him not knowing is basically letting ruby withering in pain with a cute smile on her face 🙂💔

Loving how everyone’s flaws are out in the open. Rubi is making them start to heal, and it’s realistically ugly and painful for everyone.
Ellen might have spared her nanny’s life, but she still put Rubi first and lost her mother figure (since the egg donor was toxic).
