For the people who forgot the sister shes talking about is the sister from her second life i guess? if ruby was the original one too. But techinically her first life so its the sister from that life where the sister already died and was the only person in her family who treated her kindly. This was in the begining chapters so i understand forgetting.

This FL is one of the saddest for me.
Not only was her first life nothing but neglect, and abuse. She got reincarnated into a Worse situation.
There is no therapy, there is no prozac for depression. She has been mentally, physically,and emotionally abused for 40 years. (20 and 20)
She literally had no one. Her 2 families, the people who are supposed to have her back, were her worst enemies.
And lets be real, her married family isn’t all sunshine and rainbows.
The staff treated her wrong, husband ignored her till she sought him out. Sister in laws best friend was supposed to marry her husband and everyone likes her, and not her and constantly reminds her of that.
The only beings to treat you nicely were monsters.
She is a broken person.
Who has now been sexually harrassed by her own brother and thoroughly humilated. Any one of these issues she’s suffered would put a person in therapy for years. But the ignorant fools reading this story expect her to magically become some bad@$$?
Hopefully this is the catalyst she needs to break free from the chains put on her by her father and brother. Sometimes you have to completed hit rock bottom to start making changes.
