For those confused: They skipped the part where she goes to retrieve the hidden gun (game bonus item) under the pot in the hallway, because her inventory bag was missing from her room (with all her weapons and clothes, thinks its another glitch), and runs into the other kid and his red head protector (who both act cold and like she’s their enemy or possibly an assassin), and then after they go their separate ways she wonders outside and hears kids laughing and finds blondie who just fell into a fountain trying to catch a stray ball. (I know this because I read some of the novel), and thats where this “chapter” picks back up.
