Also, in the game one never comes into direct contact with the other boys unless you chose them as your “target child”…and she never gave up on her bias, so she’s never met them….and again their caretakers didn’t exist either. You had to “raise /protect” your target child from a positions and one of the household staff or a relative of some sort….seriously this has dropped out a Ton of semi important setting and dynamic setup info!
For those confused about the flower petal thing…most of the water in the place is holy water…becuase Everying is cursed (novel explains this) so the flowers in the vase are actual used to absorb the holy water and release it into the air with the perfume to purify the air…so she used the holy water infused petal as medicine….
Also, the reason she’s so “clueless” about the dinner/clothes/caretaker situation is becuase the caretakers literally did Not even Exist in the game, this adaptation seems to be droping a lot of key info that would be simple to explain, unfortunately.

Uhh, she needs to research or something ASAP. Her lack of knowledge after playing the game so much is infuriating and stressful.
