I get that he was being used by the saintess and the gov but why did he alienated her from her friends,did he thought she was spying on him? But that was cleared when she sacrificed herself for him. Not once did it look like he regretted treating her like his object, not once has he considered her feelings it’s always “me, me, me” for him, “I want to go back to her” “you must stay with me” “why’s she rejecting me” dude couldn’t be more dense. Was he about to apologize for the things he did to her? If yes then maybe they can be friends if no then he can fuck off. Communication isn’t the main problem here it’s the lack of empathy 🤷♀️

@Pamchooms he did give his reason in past chapters. He was used by the saintess and Korean gov, so he probably didn’t trust anyone including her.
But what irks me rn is him not realising why she was cold with him.

He’s completely not self aware. Even objectively, it’s hard to miss why she wouldn’t want to be around you. Being oppressive and inconsiderate wouldn’t win you points with anyone, much less when you have a history of abusive behavior. His bad past doesn’t give him an excuse to be a d!ck to his wife or her reincarnation.

I know that the way the ml treated the mc in there past life is horrible but if we think carefully of the reason why he did that is mainly because he doesn’t trust anyone in that time. He was tricked by the delulu saintess into coming to korea and made him work for them hence the distrust. Can you imagine his confusion and the feeling of betrayal. If that was me I would have made havoc in that place. His cold treatment for soehyun is not really that severe compared to other trash ml. It’s just that the mc was also dealing with her own self pity thats why she felt strong resentment on the way the ml treated her. If you think clearly they are just victims of the awful circumstances that drifted them apart. So for me they deserve a second chance to be happy.
