Other than he didn’t know how to express his feelings, his wife was chosen based on how high their compatibility is, plus the fact that she came from the government that used him as experimental subject, it probably made it even harder for him to open up to her. Also, he couldn’t show everyone, especially the “saintess”, how much he loves his wife. That woman isn’t right in her head. FL was already bullied by her, it could become even worst if he treated her well.
But i still enjoy watching him getting rejected by her. No matter what his reason is, FL was hurt by his actions.

Me too I agree with @AhnieOpague, Also I don’t get how he’s toxic CURRENTLY apart from what he did to her in the past he hasn’t hurt her or treated her coldly, He loves her and also that was the past where he didn’t know how to express he feelings. he couldn’t understood he’s emotions towards her until she left and he realised how much he loved her if this was in real life this will be a different case but everybody deserves a second chance, (not everybody e.t.c central cee) (also it’s not like they married out of love so how do you expect him to act all lovey dovey it’s not like he didn’t take care of her in his own way I mean there was always food to eat its not like he starved her)

Being that cold to ppl can mentally hurt them. So like I want him to regret his past BS and suffer instead.
And I told u I LIKE IT when I see toxic MLs suffering
And anyway, the ML was cold to the FL and now the FL is TRYING to be cold to him but I feel like she’s giving in too easily. All I said is that the FL needs to give herself more time before she gives in to Ciel.

I just said I feel like FL is giving in too soon. I like seeing his face full of jealousy towards Morgan and shit.
Morgan is sweet side character and most ppl like the side characters more than the main character.
And I never said I didn’t like the story, the story is great and I love it, I just think the FL needs to give herself more time before she gives in to Ciel.
