It’s a bit different from the novel , the kiss she gave him before didn’t happen, and the part of him woowing her after the conversation with her parents took longer , the conversation with her parents also was different they said they just wanted her to be with them , he said he wanted the same thing that he never planned to take her to the capital he has already bought land nearby to build a house for her to stay close to her parents and he would be going back and forth from his estate, until his brother grows old enough to hand him the house and he retires to live with her all the time , he doesn’t lie here and it’s not a plan to win her parents over he did really think about what would make her happy , after this point this conversation really sticks with him he kinda of hates himself and he wants to prove to her that he was not love her because of her guiding so he stops going to her for guiding putting himself in pain and danger almost killing himself to prove something she already knew witch makes her mad , he also over corrects he just concedes to her on everything except for her safety she doesn’t like that she doesn’t want the upper hand she wants him to respect her but still challenge her and she wants him to also express what he wants, last thing he became over sensitive walking on eggshells and hanging on her everyword hating himself if he thinks he said something that might hurt her or reminded of the past she wants him to be able to move on she started to put the past behind her , she wants a fresh start for both of them , so this where I stopped reading the novel because I started the manhwa , it was her push to fix their dynamic.
