I’ve read the novel and let me tell anyone out there who reads this that the prince’s depiction here in the manhwa is far better than what was originally in the novel.
In the novel he is far more bullheaded, more rash, less understanding, more arrogant. Honestly the best way I can describe him is that the prince in the novel was more “youthful”. He has all the follies of youth: temperamental, thinks they’re invincible, thinks they’re always right. He wasn’t a bad person but he was annoying because FL and ML are such mature individuals. (Because they are living their “second” lives.) He was like an annoying little brother. Here he’s presented as this mature and rational person. I do wonder about why the change though.

Wow I’m actually impressed the Prince is struggling this early with something like this. Usually it’s blind faith for like 30 chapters.

You only have two choice, be the prince of YOUR PEOPLE or be a prince two an unknown person, the different is one become a hero and the other become a selfish jerk
