   So my conclusion is that after he mother was killed news reached the child and seeing how she was frail/sick from birth she couldn’t handle it and passed away as her mother was the only one for her. Maybe it was after sometime as well and the dragon actually tried to protect her but due to the neglect she still ends up passing away and the dragon then substitutes the FMC soul into her daughter’s body
