No, don’t limit yourself with only your recipe. Let’s be real, if you take that long time on stove around 35-50 mins, it can becomes congee rather than porridge. As you can see, the rice is still not melt with water.they have many recipe for rice porridge. In my country, it takes time only when you boil water, then put rice and prepared ingredients, and finish within 15 mins.
Anyway, any food can becomes good using magic msg🥹

Lets be real, for a quick time. Rice egg porridge cooking on stove take around 40-50 min and even longer. The very min duration prob around 35 min (only cooking), preparation probably around 5-10 min unless you cook on pressure cooker, will be slightly shorter.
Estimated arnd 1 hr and the easiest recipe is porridge?
Girl be real, its better to cook rice in pressure cooker and some veg or egg broth separate ( hangover) is even quicker or fried rice but porridge?? Manga logic be like
