It’s very binary thinking story it wants to explore the idea of human capabilities but don’t want to press on it like when the woman says his family in the light house and she wants the saint to help her cause she is the saint so why not , it’s just like a fairy tale trying to adopt a brilliant idea in a half way like yeah there’s set back but how do we come up top with it by something out of the pocket….(I am just yapin)but this is common this what manwhas are just a good sweet honey story with a pinch of it trying to be brutal but truns into vanila typical manwha stuff and the fandom crashes out when any manwha doesn’t goes down the same route of dasmal in distress a charming Prince comes and wolf the her ass from the trouble fl as a human being lacks so much struggle it always feels most of these fl has flowerly path to success just wait make the morally correct choices and wooff the power of author and main lead aura help you till the end of the manhwa no justification need no need to take accountability no need to make hard choice the male leads are just dying to marry you you are the fuking best the rest are bitch..

Its not the people who don’t believe in her, its the aristocrats. They want to hold onto their power over the people. The appearance of the Saintess means that the common people get more power through her as a proxy. In hindsight, the saintess is like an appointed representative of the people who can increase the authority she weilds in propotion to the amount of followers she has, while the aristocrats are like heriditary lords who have no real sway over the people since they have inherited power though their ancestors’ efforts, not through their own efforts like the saintess.
