From my numerous stories that I’ve read, I think the most logical thing would to be make your own alternative route. See if you can use your powers of fire to somehow drill a new tunnel through a mountain or even if you can just get to a large body of water. Make your own cargo ships or swamp dinghies Solutions, Man Solutions or give weapons to a couple soldiers and send them with the carts
