   @Spupnik totally agree like what are these people on about incest there not realed by blood.

   NOT to mention if this was in modern world like rn this would basically being a bribe and getting along with family and feeling excepted. THERE IS NO INCEST THERE FAMILY. THEY ARE TREATING EACH OTHER WHAT IT MEANS TO BE FAMILY.

   Caught up to chapter 34 and literally where are they being raised as siblings? From the very beginning they are being raised as future leaders of the duchy, as future husband and wife. But being kids, of course there won’t be that type of romance. Just because they live in the same house as children doesn’t mean they are “raised as siblings” … There’s not even a scene like in other daughter-in-law manhwa where they’re like “you can call me unnie/sister!” or anything like that. There is ZERO INDICATION of a sibling relationship. In fact, quite the opposite. The ML, Yuta, never sees Isabella as a sister. And while Isabella does see Yuta as a cute kid (being a regressor) it is never indicated or said that she sees him as a younger brother.
   Plus, in this historical setting, a fiancee living with her future husband’s family isn’t unusual. Not to mention Isabella’s parents died. Where else would she stay if not her future place of residence?

   Y’all really trying to make this into something it’s not.

   I’ve seen some sketchy daughter-in-law manhwa where they really did grow up akin to siblings and the romance was sus (though still not incest by definition, as mentioned in my previous comment) and maybe even a bit uncomfy just due to that. This is literally the most NORMAL type of daughter-in-law manhwa I’ve read, probably ever, and I’ve read a LOT of these types of stories.

   It’s not incest as they aren’t blood related, and yes, blood relation matters in the definition of incest.

   Neither MC or ML give any indication of a sibling relationship (in fact, the ML says multiple times how MC is his bride and he will protect her), nor does the Duke/Father treat them as siblings at all.

   Isabella only stays with them as her parents died and she needs a guardian, and childhood engagements were common in this historical setting, so where else to stay if not the place of her future husband and Father-in-law?

   The story barely even focuses on their relationship, but rather on Isabella achieving things on her own and focuses more on her relationship to the Duke than Yuta/ML just as a result of that… and the relationship between MC/ML feels A LOT more like one of those childhood friend tropes where the ML falls first, and then I’m betting the ML falls harder when they grow up. That’s more the vibes of this story even if they are living in the same residence.

   If you’re sensitive asf and don’t understand what incest is like others in these comments, avoid this story.

   If you enjoy feel-good and healing regression manhwa like I do, and can differentiate between what’s actually a problem and what’s not, you’ll probably enjoy it!

   Is it unique? Not really. But it’s a fun, light read, has many cute moments, and it’s a nice respite from the day if you ignore the comments!

   I haven’t read it YET, I’m about to… BUT for the comments saying “they were raised as siblings, blood doesn’t matter, it’s incest” well I’m sorry to say but generally speaking, blood DOES matter. At least in the USA, incest is LEGALLY defined as: “Incest is marriage or sexual intercourse with a relative within the prohibited degree of consanguinity . In other words, incest is sexual contact between close blood relatives, including brothers and sisters, parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, or aunts or uncles with nephews or nieces. Incest is a crime in all states, even if consensual by both parties.”

   Meaning just being raised as siblings does not make anything incest.
   If it makes you uncomfortable personally, that’s valid. You’re entitled to dislike it. But don’t call it incest when it’s not. It gives the wrong impression and is just false.

   For those wondering why it’s popular to have ML/FL that are raised with the MC in Asian culture stories… Well hard to say. They place a higher importance on family than Western families normally do, so my guess is that probably contributes.

   Ever heard of “daddy issues” or “mommy issues” in the Western world??? They can be thanks to a bad relationship with said parent, OR something like extreme dependency, or something in between.

   The idea of a “brother complex” and “sister complex” in Asian cultures is probably as common in their fiction as “Daddy issues” and “mommy issues” are for us.

   But yes, incest is still considered taboo, so my guess is that they make them as close to siblings as possible while never actually crossing the legal or moral boundary known as “incest” … Since incest does require close blood relation to be considered incest in the first place.

   Hope this answers some questions for anyone reading the comments. If they’re not blood related, it’s NOT incest, but if it makes you uncomfortable, that’s on you and that’s fine. Just don’t read it then.

    @simpin slut i totally agree with you just make it a father daughter story why the fuck do you need to add a son too like i can never see a guy as a husband if i we are raised together and with same parents if i was fl i would have actually divorce the guy and get adopted and the find another man to marry or just live alone with my money ; )

    It’s decent if you like these types of stories, I’d say it’s mid.

    I want to like these daughter-in-law stories, but idk they always end up being raised like siblings and the father gets closer to FL than his own biological children. I know there is no blood relation, and I like the concept of knowing your true love since childhood (just don’t be RAISED with them with their parents). Just make it a daddy/daughter story y’know? It’s just weird to me like how some guys sexualize lollis.
