   @_Blank_. She could be a “bound” spirit (assuming that is a thing in this universe) and maybe she died in an accident in some remote mountain. Or maybe she just passed on, tho if she had a choice in the matter I don’t see why she would not want to be with her kid knowing that she can see ghosts.
