Lucas would have been the quiet, steady lover while the Klaus is more hot-headed and passionate. It’s fine for me if FL chooses the ML but right now all I can think of is a separate isekai story for Lucas <3

Never liked the emperor and he doesn’t have nearly as much natural chemistry as Lucas and FL do. In fact, Lucas was the one to believe in her first, to help her every step of the way, and kept her secret, etc – the emperor was willing to kill her and had major intelligence issues for a solid 90% of this manwa. Them being the couple feels dissatisfying, despite knowing that it would inevitably go that way; simply because he is the ML, and not because he deserves it or is even the best fit.

It feels like the author made the decision that they will fall in love because that’s just what the ML and FL do, and not because they gave them a satisfying love story. Lucas deserves better. And so does Marie. ML only loves her like a pet and an object, and it took all the kings horses and all the kings men to get him to put his braincells back together again. Girl, do better!
