I agree, even thought it is kind of overused I still enjoy it, seeing them win over the family is so heartwarming ( world’s best engineer anyone? ) and aside from that is just funny seeing the regressot judge the og dude

The reason it’s often the black sheep is due to historical causality. Basically you either have to regress to someone who would achieve a lot and this it’s fine when you do. The opposite is also true. When you become someone who has zero achievements and is fated to die you have a blank canvas.
