Sigh… “hell” by definition also has these two terms, hell as in “Sheol” and hell as in eternal fire/suffering”.

In the Apostle’s Creed, when it stated that Jesus Christ, the Second Person of God the Holy Trinity—DESCENDED INTO HELL—it meant that he went to Sheol, where the humans in afterlife are (different from hell or eternal suffering after the Second Coming of Christ). There in hell of Sheol, Jesus Christ, as written in the Bible, preached to the spirits or humans there that they might know of the Saviour, who is Jesus Christ Himself is.
