   I can’t believe she fell for it hook, line, and sinker. If anyone double-crossed or cheated Abel, that demon king of a man would come to capital and personally cut him down in front of everybody. I honestly didn’t think Fiona could be this gullible.

   I’m a bit surprised she didn’t notice that trick. Abel wouldn’t hire a subordinate that would pull anything to begin with. From the moment he asked her to inspect the mansion, she should have guessed this was a ploy to bait her into staying.
   I’ve got no issues with her falling for it. Even if she had noticed, she would probably still have done it anyways. I’m just surprised.
