From what I remember reading, he was never that interested in getting revenge. It was just something in his childhood that he blamed her and her father, you know how children are. But he grew out of that phase, he doesn’t blame her at all. If anything his revenge is mainly for her leaving him when they were children, but he learns it’s because of his aunt and grandfather, they become the biggest obstacle in their relationship. But their also not bad people.
