I have come to understand the deeper tale this manhwa seeks to weave. It tells of a protagonist(og FL), the central figure of the narrative, who ascends to the pinnacle of success, basking in luxury and achieving all they desire—even as the tale draws to a close. Yet, as their star continues to shine, the fate of those who surround them, the side characters, reveals a harsher truth.
These supporting souls, whose lives were shaped and oftentimes disrupted by the protagonist’s journey, are left to grapple with the consequences of the hero’s actions. While the main character reclines in comfort, freed from worry and hardship, the others must endure their struggles, left in the shadows of the tale’s bittersweet conclusion. Thus, the story unveils a poignant contrast: the glory of the one comes at the cost of the many, a testament to the inequities of destiny within this world of fantasy.
