Yea no. She’s already inserting herself in his business. To repay him, she could’ve just helped earn her keep or learn relevant diplomacy to help with the relationship to the temple. Instead she chooses to offer very unsolicited, VERY personal advice that she was already advised not to give by the people that are actually close to him.
She may be feeling bad rn, but she’s not feeling bad enough to put her feelings aside if she’s given a “convincing” reason. She keeps on getting all delulu with a MARRIED man. That may not mean much in this fantasy world, but she comes from the modern era. She should know better or at least evaluate her character sooner. Notice how she didn’t think about how awful her thoughts were until they got shut down?
With that type of person, the reason doesn’t really need to be that in depth either. It just needs to be enough to give them a starting confidence, and then all hell breaks loose. Cuz in their mind, they have good reasonings as to why they should be allowed to waltz into someone else’s home and family. Logic and crazy rarely work together, especially if it’s the boy crazy flavor of mental health problems.
I guarantee she gon fxck up everything before the possibility of her actually repenting even enters the chat. She may look innocent or “maybe the story is pushing her to feel this way” but again, she only felt bad after her feelings came crashing down with reality. And in the moment, she was more upset over him rushing to his WIFE than the realization that she was thinking something terrible.
