@Onyxtic monsters only hurt people when the people hurt them. Fate does not determine one’s character. Fate can be overcome with determination and strong enough will. An Evil God can be good ans start protecting people and a Good God can be psychotic and demand human sacrifices to maintain his facade. The world is contradictory like that.

I mean, I get her. She doesn’t know the evil god has already awakened inside the child despite seeing the mark.
