   Herace is likely an impostor. The father said that she showed up saying that she was his daughter and that he had no concrete proof. This insecurity and aggressiveness doesn’t seem like something just a child would do. She’s two-faced and likes to rub it in other people’s faces that she’s the guy’s daughter, even though he hasn’t even fully recognized her yet… he himself said “partially recognized” the brat. The brother himself said that he didn’t feel like she was his sister or something like that.

   And the father said that his vassals were not respecting his authority and questioning him in everything, I wouldn’t be surprised if Herace has connections with some ambitious vassal house or with the Satanic emperor… other stories went this same way before.

   tbh herace is just a kid. The father isn’t really doing a good job of parenting and so she always felt like she had to tiptoe around and her being rude was kinda a defence mechanism for her own insecurities. She still goes too far tho but I think parenting is a large part to blame
