Wait What
OK, I’m about 94% percent sure that Rein 2.0 as he is now alludes to The Hanged Man card. Major Arcana #12 is sometimes considered itself an allusion to the Norse myth in which Odin (god of wisdom/King of that particular pantheon) sacrifices his *right (debateable) eye* to Mimir’s Well, throws himself on his own (named) spear, and hangs himself on the World Tree for nine days–all in exchange for the knowledge of Runes and *of other worlds*.
For those interested, Valletta has always represented the different aspects of The Fool, though heavily alluding to the characters of the pentacles suit–material matters, tradesmen and professionals, money and transactional relationships (that bit where alchemists always have a mandala-like symbol in their eye? If you look at the first one when Valletta is nine, you’ll see a small five-sided star in the center, bounded by a circle–a pentacle).
