It’s sad that she doesn’t understand the value of herself. She was raised as a tool and doesn’t know how to love ANYTHING. Giving her the cat to try to get her to learn to love and take care of something is sweet. I don’t see it as the two trying to control her- they simply want to try to help her live a normal life like she deserves.

I hate this, not the cat but the fact that they wanna use the cat as a reason for her to not leave or die and gor her to lowkey rely one them. Cuz the reason she can up and leave everything and everyone behind is cuz she has nothing that she treasures or loves or wants to protect.
