Grandfather is worried about his son but can’t put it into words, my guess is due to heir training from a young age, so it ends up coming out as anger. Really he doesn’t want his son to lock himself away, agonizing over the death of his family, searching for possibilities, knowing he won’t find one. The son hasn’t properly dealt with his trauma and thus gets defensive, which in turn turns into anger. They love eachother they’re just terrible with their emotions. Noble families are often emotionally distant to a degree with their family, because emotions mean nothing. Arranged/political marriages, 1 heir and the rest get nothing, some even have a rule where you have to kill your siblings to become the heir.

Grandfather is so rude like your son lost his family. Show some sympathy and I thought you were getting better with him. The lab I mean they’ve just popped out like two or three inventions that are making a lot of money. How can you possibly say he’s wasting time? And have you even looked into how she was being treated before because that older son hates her. Anybody can tell you that Jeffrey is a good dad, even if he’s using her to fill the void of his own child. He hasn’t done anything to harm her and is encouraging her and letting her do her own thing which is exactly what she needs right now. So go away Grandpa
