Originally, I did feel sorry for the brunette friend because as a woman she was given less choices than men in this society, but after seeing how she just has an obsessive and nasty personality, I no longer feel sorry for her.
Maybe MC did have an easy life (I believe she did) but when faced with difficulties MC always reacted in the kindest most understanding way possible. This b*tch does not do that. When she faced difficulties, she would often think about how she’s not getting what she wanted. She’s selfish and her life ended up this way because of that.
I feel bad for her husband. He seems like an upright guy who cares about the people in his territory who deserves better than this vain woman.
