   Pretty much ocilid, the aunt, has been trying to manipulate the house so that her son can take the title, except she’s bad at it.
   Now warning my history is rusty so look it up instead of listening to me.
   The emperor and the duke have a magical truce for saving the emperors life, but the duke realized he had left in a loophole. While the emperor couldn’t hurt the dukes family it didn’t necessarily mean he couldn’t hire someone to do so. The duke is just not sure how.
   He really answered his own question.
   The duke and Anita make a contract of guardianship because he’s a duke and she’s …. I forgot her status but loooower than a mf duke. It’s kinda like an adoption to have an heir take over your title and family cause they got no one else. Had to be a noble tho I think? Again I could be wrong.
   Anywhooo
   Went into a rabbit hole of research and did not come out wanting to learn what I leaned.
   Anita’s like btw we should hold a ball and dad’s like oh you, what do you have planned next?
   And that has been I’m high and here.
