He likes her. Even I told the same to my aunt when I was small. She smiled and said, “alright, but you have to grow up and become a great person. Only then will I marry you.” I didn’t know the whole thing about incest and stuff like that back then and I was so hyped that I worked hard tring to become a better person. Very recently I met her again, and she laughed and said “you did truly become a great man. Do you still want to marry me?” I laughed it off and replied. “I don’t feel like I am still worthy enough.” THen she said “dont doubt yourself. It takes a lot to acknowlege your faults and better yourself.” Then we had a very relaxed conversation about life and how I have improved through the years and all that. I guess, the best way for an aunt to help her nephew who admires her, and says he wants to marry her when he grws up, is to encourage him to be a better person who will be “worthy” of her. In reality, she is just making sure that her beloved nephew is growing up to be a great person.
