Okay. I made an account just to rant on how stupid this is. First, Isabella faked a pregnancy with the Prince. Sure, one might argue it could be a “delusional/fantasy pregnancy”. However, it ultimately means that she is accusing the Prince, a ROYALTY, of ADULTERY. And her punishment is just being removed as a queen candidate? WTF? She literally insulted the ROYALTY. The punishment should be more severe.
Next, the King’s actions. He wants to abdicate after the Prince marries Bella? And the author is framing that as a good thing? What? The influence of the nobility on royalty is strong because of the King. Now he wants to run away from his responsibility? Such cowardice should not be framed as the “King became wiser”. No. He should be mocked because of his irresponsibility and cowardice.
