   It’s sometimes amazing how people’s perspective works:
   “You blew it out of proportion!”
   I really wish Carla had come back with “YOUR grandchild died!” instead of “My baby died!”
   But it’s not like I’m not put on the backfoot when someone makes some stupid, brazen comment (especially in face-to-face conversation), so I can’t really blame authors for writing characters who don’t make better points in the heat of the moment.
