I think this would ever happen if Char just add the magic tower on Dylan’s list to wage war is. And both of them destroy it. There’s a lot of evidence to support their actions
First of all let’s remember she was turned into an actual FREAKING SWORD. She lived 400 years as an object that was used to kill people, so when she came back in time she had PTSD, depression, abused, trauma and what not.

In here fl really brought this outcome to herself even though she knows that Dylan Loved her to the point that if she left her he would go crazy. It’s really sad that she never even once considered the matter of talking to him and letting him to know a little bit about her and understand her more.
