Everyone who hates her has clearly never considered how bad ppd is on a woman. She coulda killed him, she coulda aborted him. She didnt, no she didnt love him properly but she had her own horrible traumas she was working through before she found out she was pregnant. Be happy she didnt kill herself along with the kid by the end.

Y’all, at least apreciate this version of Reinhardt was more family-friendly than the one in the novel. Understand Rein has post partum depression and some kind of newly-gained trauma related to Wilhem. I do not defend her, just try to understand that what it’s being illustrated here is in fact normal in our daily lives.
