No child should be punished for the sins of their parent. Even a brat deserves better treatment than being put to death because their father was a criminal.
I’m really happy for Latia. I agree that executing her half-sister who is a child is hard. But for those who think she was ignored by her parents and was looking for affection, that’s not really true. It was Latia who was. Her half-sister had the attention and love of her parents (even if her parents brought her up in the wrong way). If she became a lost cause, it’s precisely because she was as cruel as her parents, and seriously wounded her guardian angel in the form of a cat, that her soul was broken. (that’s what I’ve understood from reading the chapters so far).
I remember somebody commented about this in Novel updates. Her half sister, also just a child, is also executed. I really have mixed emotions here. That red-haired little girl is just a lost cause, no proper guidance from a good parent, also just seeking affection as a child should have. 😟
