Ok, this is cute and all but…. Why TF are most of the fl’s afraid of lightning….. The lighting always comes first and then sound comes…. Or is it different for traumatized characters?

I think it’s trauma in this case. There was a storm when she got beaten by her father, and now that she has had experience where things doesn’t hurt, she doesn’t have to be afraid, that shit can get to you worse.
Plus, like she said, now that she’s experiencing good things, she’s also scared of dying. And then the storm swooped in as she was already feeling bad.
